Ready, Get Set, GO!

So how many times you've stepped on the weighing scale and let out a sigh of relief? It's allright even if you don't answer that question. It's never too late to kickstart your exercise regimen. And the Mumbai marathon has just paved the way for everyone who refuses to let the alarm go off. WAKE UP! It's time to run!

There are so many ways of exercising your body. From walking, jogging to sprinting, choose what’s best for you. And it’s important not only to wear the right clothes but also choose the right shoes according to your exercise regimen.

Ensure your clothing is relaxed and helps you breathe. And never underestimate the importance of wearing the right shoes. Don't make do with your old shoes just because you're sweating it out. Investing in a good pair of sports shoes will go a long way.

While buying your shoes keep the following points in mind

  1. Comfort: However good your shoes look, they need to be comfortable. Period. If not, don’t waste your time.
  2. Size: Always remember to measure your feet before buying a pair of shoes. Don’t go for a smaller size thinking they will go loose or end up buying a bigger size in case your feet grow. Your feet should fit without any discomfort!
  3. Purpose: Why are you buying them? For walking, jogging or running? Answer these basic questions before buying the latest trend in sports shoes.
  4. Cushioning: It’s important to get the right cushioning according to your activity.
  5. Trial: Try your new shoes, even if you love them. And don’t hesitate to return them if they don’t suit your purpose.
