Happy Sankranti!

Sankranti Wishes from

If you're thinking that the season of celebration is over, then you couldn't be more wrong. It's time for a whole new list of festivals to begin. Leading them all is the vibrant festival of Makar Sankranti which is celebrated with much fervor across the country. And how could we forget Lohri in Punjab? And before flying colourful kites, singing songs around bonfires or eating tonnes of sweets, you would need to get your new ensemble in place. And as always, we're here to help you!

Don't be shy to experiment with colour. Brighter the shade, more cheerful the look. But, maintain restraint as you don't want to look like a riot of colours. Darker tones are always safer, especially if you're not sure how to play with bright colours. The combination of red and green could never go wrong. Yellow either by itself or with light tones of blue or pink would be perfect for the festive celebration. Yellow is also the colour of happiness. From patialas, churidars to saris, let colour speak for the occasion!

&Now that you've got your ensemble in place, it's time to pick your footwear. From mojris to stiletto sandals, choose your shoes according to your look. Once again, mix and match. If you're ensemble is colourful then stick to sober shades for your footwear. Nudes or whites would be a good bet to try. You can try mixing red mojris with a green churidar or white and yellow sandals with a yellow sari.
It's never too late to buy a pair of new shoes. So don't worry, if you still don't have your footwear decided. Just click on our collection of shoes and select what works for you! What's more, our season sales will ensure those new stilettos are not too heavy on your pocket!

  1. "Once again, mix and match." I really love how this technique works like magic all the time.
